Supporting the inner shift behind life’s outer changes
Psychotherapy is my second act. For over 20 years, I worked primarily as an IT Portfolio Director, managing and coaching a team of delivery professionals who launched large-scale IT projects for the banking and telecommunications sectors.
While that type of work sharpened my thinking, improved my coaching skills, and paid the bills, it never fully felt quite aligned with the deeper questions about meaning, fulfillment, and how I want to live my life as a human being. Over time, the itch to make a change grew inside me until a personal turning point made those questions impossible to ignore.
I chose to retire from my corporate life, so I could do work that felt aligned with who I wanted to be and what I wanted to do in this world. Becoming a psychotherapist is more of a calling than a vocation. It allows me to bring together practical, real-world experience with a deep respect for the emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of life.
At Rich Spirit Counselling, I support individuals and couples through major life transitions, such as career changes, retirement, new relationships, parenthood, and those moments when you feel an inner calling for a life redesign. Together we explore not only what you want your life to look like, but what truly matters beneath the surface.
Because money often plays a central role in these transitions, I also offer grounded financial therapy, helping individuals and couples work realistically with their finances, values, and beliefs about money.
I see therapy as a collaborative process between fellow travellers. It is a privilege to walk alongside you as you create a life that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

Life Transitions & Designing Your Next Chapter
Life doesn’t always evolve in small steps; sometimes it needs to be reimagined. I support individuals navigating major transitions such as career pivots, entering a new relationship or marriage, retirement, becoming a parent, or simply realizing that life no longer feels fulfilling.
Our work focuses on clarifying what truly matters, managing uncertainty, and consciously creating what comes next in a way that integrates your mind, heart, and spiritual dimensions.
Career, Burnout, and High-Functioning Stress
Many of the people I work with are capable, responsible, and outwardly successful. However, on the inside, they feel exhausted and disconnected. Career pressure, burnout, and chronic stress are increasingly common in our lives and often surface during periods of transition or re-evaluation.
Therapy can help you step off autopilot, understand the cost of constant striving, and reconnect with a way of working and living that feels sustainable and fulfilling.
Financial Therapy & Money-Related Stress
Money is rarely just about numbers. It often carries fear, values, identities, and unspoken expectations. I offer grounded financial therapy for individuals and couples who feel stuck, anxious, or conflicted around money.
Our work includes exploring spending and saving patterns, differing beliefs about money, decision-making under uncertainty, and how finances intersect with your vision for a meaningful life.
Couples in Transition
Even strong relationships can need support during times of transition, such as marriage, parenthood, career shifts, financial stress, or planning for the future. I support couples in navigating change with greater understanding, communication, and alignment.
Together, we work toward creating a shared vision that honours both individual needs and the relationship as a whole.
Meaning, Identity, and Spiritual Exploration
At certain points in life, practical solutions alone aren’t enough. Questions about purpose, identity, and meaning naturally arise, especially during times of change or loss.
I offer space for thoughtful exploration of spirituality, values, and what it means to live a rich and fulfilling life, in a way that respects your beliefs, culture, and worldview.

‘Rich Spirit’ is a pointer to discovering what true wealth looks like. In our Western world, we are often exclusively focused on the accumulation of monetary wealth while sacrificing the other forms such as freedom of time, social connection, physical health, and spiritual fulfillment. At Rich Spirit Counselling, our work will be to carve out the time and space to reflect on your unique values and to build a life that feels wealthy from the inside out.

My rates are $130 / 50-min. session for individual counselling and $150 / 50-min. session for couples counselling. My approach is warm, collaborative, client-centered, and culturally responsive. I combine traditional therapeutic techniques (ACT, SFBT, EFT, CFT, PCT) with a deep understanding of the practical challenges of life transitions. I focus on helping you find alignment between your external circumstances and your internal values, fostering resilience and self-discovery as you become who you want to be and create the life you want to live.

Rich Spirit Counselling is well-suited for individuals and couples who are navigating meaningful life transitions such as career changes, retirement, marriage, parenthood, or a growing sense that life needs to be re-aligned.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who want support that is both practical and reflective. If you’re looking for therapy that integrates emotional well-being, real-life decision-making, and deeper values, we are a good fit.

Not at all. Many people seek therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because they want to be more intentional about how they live.
Therapy can be a space for reflection, clarity, and direction, especially during times of change or uncertainty.

Financial therapy focuses on the emotional, relational, and psychological aspects of money. Rather than offering financial products or specific investment advice, we explore how money intersects with your values, identity, relationships, and life choices.
Sessions may include discussing spending and saving patterns, money-related stress or avoidance, differing beliefs about money within couples, and how financial decisions align with the life you want to build.
